How do you play volleyball?

Volleyball is played by two teams of six players each on a court divided by a net. The goal is to send the ball over the net and make it touch the ground on the opponent’s side, while preventing the opponent from doing the same. Each team can touch the ball up to three times before sending it back over the net. The game continues until one team reaches the required number of points to win the set and match.

Players cannot catch, hold, or throw the ball.

A match is usually played as the best of five sets; the first team to reach 25 points (with at least a 2-point lead) wins a set.
Players must rotate clockwise each time they win the serve from the opposing team.
